Overview

I build fast, thoughtful interfaces — then work backwards to understand the systems that power them.

Front-end engineer with three years of experience building and shipping products. Lately, I've been working deeper into the stack — backend and AI, mostly with Python — because I want to understand more than just the interface.

I care about the seam where design meets engineering — where most of the interesting problems live. A design that can't survive contact with real data isn't finished, and an implementation that quietly drops the details isn't either.

I'm drawn to problems where the interface is only the visible part. The more I build, the more interested I become in the systems, decisions, and trade-offs underneath.

Full-stack · Local file transfer

A private, local-network file sharing application for transferring large files directly between devices over Wi-Fi

Built a full-stack file transfer application for sending files directly between devices on the same local network.
Implemented QR-based device pairing so users can quickly connect a phone and computer without manually entering connection details.
Designed chunked uploads with parallel workers, progress tracking, cancellation, and resume-friendly transfer handling for large files.
Implemented streaming downloads with HTTP Range support for video seeking and interrupted transfer recovery.
Added pairing-token protection for file listing, uploads, downloads, and deletion.
Built a responsive mobile-first interface with Send and Receive workflows, drag-and-drop uploads, file previews, and light/dark mode.
Focused on keeping file transfers local so files do not need to pass through third-party cloud storage.

A production-oriented RAG customer support agent built around grounded answers, citations, retrieval evaluation, feedback, rate limiting, and incremental indexing.

Built an AI customer support application using the Vercel AI SDK and a retrieval-augmented generation architecture.
Implemented vector-based document retrieval using PostgreSQL and pgvector to ground responses in a structured knowledge base.
Added citations that link generated answers back to the exact documentation sections used as supporting context.
Built a retrieval evaluation system with a 39-question golden dataset and metrics including Recall@1, Recall@5, and MRR.
Implemented incremental document indexing using content hashing so unchanged documents do not need to be re-embedded.
Added per-caller rate limiting and other safeguards around AI usage and API access.
Implemented thumbs-up/down feedback and diagnostic comments to create a feedback loop for evaluating answer quality.
Built a streaming agentic chat flow with tool-based retrieval rather than treating the application as a simple prompt-and-response chatbot.
